Upcoming Online Classes

Nevi'im (The Prophets)

with Joshua

Mondays 7:30pm

Starting Monday, June 14, 2021

through Monday, August 2, 2021

It’s time to get back to fundamentals. Have you wanted to increase your familiarity with Navi, the books of the prophets? The next series taught by our spiritual leader Joshua will be an introduction to a number of our heavenly poets, voices of conscience, Divine messengers… the Nevi’im.

June 14, 21 - In advance of the fast of 17 Tammuz, we will focus on Voices of Warning: prophetic texts that tried to make us see something we (often) refused to see.
June 28, July 5, 12 - In between 17 Tammuz and 9 Av, we will move to Voices of Sorrow: Jeremiah’s mourning over the fall of our holy city.
July 19, 26, August 2 - Finally, picking ourselves out of the wreckage, we will have Voices of Hope, coinciding with the Seven Weeks of Comfort: promises of resilience, of a dawn yet to come, of redemption that comes closer each day.
