Upcoming In-Person Class

Love & Loss: Preparing for Tisha b’Av with Beth Lida

Wednesday, August 3 | 7:00 p.m. at Beth Lida

Rabbinic Judaism began in the wake of the Temple's destruction. How did the Rabbis process this tragic ending that was foundational to their own beginning?

In this class, we will explore Midrashim (rabbinic stories) that provide metaphors and allegories to help us understand what it's like to live in the shadow of loss.

Pizza dinner will be served. Admission is $10, or PWYC
