February 28th is JIAS’ seventh annual Refugee Shabbat, and we’re making it happen here! 

5:40pm - Mincha/Kabbalat Shabbat Services

5:47pm - candle lighting will be available at the shul

Dinner to follow services, approximately 6:45pm


This year's dinner will feature a meaningful learning opportunity on the topic "Welcoming the Stranger in Jewish and Canadian Law". The Shiur will be led by Adam Sadinsky, a lawyer & trusted advocate in immigration and refugee law, and Joshua Schwartz, Beth Lida's Spiritual Leader.
